- From January to September 2013, the IOM Migration Information Centre (MIC) was contacted by more than 1,502 clients, whom the MIC provided with 2,032 consultations.
- In 2013, IOM Bratislava organized seven trainings focused on identification of victims of human trafficking for 158 employees of municipalities, government, various centres and organizations.
- More than 232 million of migrants currently live beyond the borders of their country of origin. With this number migrants would create the fifth most populous country in the world.
