In preparation for the cold weather as well as to continue meeting the basic needs of vulnerable Ukrainians, IOM Slovakia (IOM) has distributed 700 personal kits that consisted of hygienic supplies and warm clothes.

Jackets, gloves, socks, blankets as well as shampoos, shower gels, tooth pastes and tooth brushes were delivered to regional centres all over Slovakia so that vulnerable groups, mainly mothers with children and elderly people can reach them out in different locations.

During winter months, IOM distributed the humanitarian aid to following centres and organizations: COMIN Centre in Nitra, Komunitná nadácia zdravé mesto in Banská Bystrica, Ukrainska Spilka in Zilina, Dobrovoľný hasičský zbor mesta Prešov, Košice HotSpot, Cultural Centre Aktivity in Trencin, Michalovce Registration Centre and to points of entry in Vysne Nemecke and Ubla.
