IOM continues providing humanitarian aid to the Community Center for Work and Knowledge Mobility (COMIN) in Nitra. On 18 August 2022, IOM delivered 7 pallets with clothing there.

Most of the people currently looking for help in this centre are women with children that fled war in Ukraine, who are in urgent need of finding a job and struggle to cover their basic needs.

The humanitarian clothing aid consisted of 4,000 t-shirts for children, 350 women t-shirts, 100 men t-shirts, 200 pieces of men underwear, 1,000 pieces of women sports bra, 4,000 socks for children and 4,500 socks for adults.

This delivery was also unloaded with the help of employees of the City of Nitra and Ukrainian volunteers at the temporary warehouse situated in the High School of Gastronomy in Nitra.
