Community Center for Work and Knowledge Mobility (COMIN) is a centre for foreigners in the Nitra region, daily serving 50 people that fled the war in Ukraine. In response to the most pressing needs of these people in emergency, IOM handed over to this centre hygienic kits and slippers.

On 8 August 2022, IOM delivered to their temporary warehouse in the High School of Gastronomy in Nitra 1,000 hygienic kits for women, children and men, loaded at the 30 palletes weighing 9,800 kg.
Additionally, IOM also delivered the first part of clothing donations: 1,600 slippers. Employees of the Nitra City with the help of Ukrainian volunteers unloaded both deliveries.
The centre helps take care of children of mostly refugee women who want to find a job or handle administrative issues and need a safe space where they can leave their child for a couple of hours while having a job interview or visiting government institutions.
