As much as 86 % of refugees stay in developing countries. It was stated during the online discussion of experts on global migration challenges, refugees and granting international protection in the Slovak Republic and on the external activities of the Migration Office of the Ministry of Interior abroad.

The online discussion Refugees among us – How does it work in Slovakia? was organized by the Migration Office of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as members of the National Contact Point of the European Migration Network (EMN) in Slovakia in cooperation with the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia.
