Mrs. Le Thi Binh from Vietnam came to Slovakia legally to visit her son. After expiring her visa she has lived here for another four years illegally. For her return home she was missing the valid travel documents and money.
Therefore she requested the assistance of IOM Bratislava and registered into Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration Programme (AVRR). After registration IOM Bratislava helped her to return back to Vietnam safely.
Shortly after return Mrs. Binh decided to use also offered reintegration assistance through which she expanded a family running pig and fish farm. IOM Bratislava in cooperation with IOM Hanoi purchased the animals and supplies needed to build a shelter for pigs which protects animals against bad weather and reduces the risk of infection by various diseases. In future Mrs. Binh plans to expand her farm even more to secure the long-term source of income for whole family.
